With the state of Iowa being responsible for about one-fourth of this country’s pork production, one expects an emphasis on swine at ISU College of Veterinary Medicine. This local chapter invites speakers to talk about topics related to swine medicine and the pork industry. ISU AASV and its members have a strong connection on a national level, interacting with swine veterinarians and industry professionals from around the world, making a strong connection between students and future employers.
