Description The AAEP strives to bring students information and opportunities for experience that they may not get from the formal curriculum through speakers, hand-on experiences, and seminars.

Membership Qualifications Local dues are due in September/October for the school year ($15, payable to AAEP, checks are submitted to the treasurer). Any student may become a National AAEP member (but this is not required for local AAEP members). Pay national dues of $35 (via www.aaep.org) to become a National AAEP member. National AAEP membership is from September 1 through August 31, membership can be renewed on-line. National dues are not paid through local chapter.

Activities
Desc. of Regular Meetings/Activities We typically have 1 meeting a month on various equine topics. We also plan 2-3 wetlabs a semester in which students get hand on experience. The wetlabs held in the past have been castration, farrier, dentistry, ultrasound, acupuncture, conformation analysis etc.

About: Various Wetlabs - We have various wetlabs throughout the year. The allow students to get hands on experience with horses to build skills needed upon graduation.
