Supports American Indian/Alaskan Native students and their cultures, especially as they are related to the study and knowledge of the sciences, technology and engineering fields. A large part of AISES Student Chapter’s mission is to help promote understanding of traditional native epistemologies of scientific, technological and engineering knowledge that may be contradictory to western European based epistemologies of academia.
