Desc. of Regular Meetings/Activities
Alpha Kappa Psi hosts several professional speakers and workshops throughout the semester. Topics include professional development (e.g., resume preparation, traditional and phone interview skills, salary and benefits negotiations) and recruitment for internship, co-op, and full-time career opportunities. Members also participate in numerous social and philanthropic activities, and have the opportunity to attend regional and national workshops.

About: Various Professional Events - Guests including our sponsoring corporations, alumni members, and other business professionals conduct informational sessions and workshops intended to inform members of internship, co-op, and career opportunities, as well as to impart important professional skills including networking, negotiating, and interviewing. Frequency: 3-5+ events each semester. Est. Attendance: 50 members, 2 non-members Depts. Involved: College of Business Career Services

Word of mouth; fliers; ClubFest, Business ClubFest, and Veishea booths; and plasma screens on campus are used to advertise our group.
