Membership Qualifications
Members must have an interest in furthering their knowledge of agronomy, must support the clubs activities through their time and dedication, and have a desire to network with professionals in agronomy and related fields.
Membership Restrictions
Membership is open to any student who is currently enrolled at Iowa State University.
Elections
Officer meetings are held during the last regular meeting of the calendar year, with the officer duties taking effect after winter break, at the beginning of the next calendar year.
Meetings
Agronomy club meetings are held every other Thursday at 7:00 pm in room 3140 of Agronomy Hall.
Activities
Desc. of Regular Meetings/Activities
Regular meetings consist of a speaker from an agronomic field talking about a particular company or organization. The speaker is followed by a regular business meeting with refreshments.

About: VEISHEA Food Stand - The Agronomy Club runs a food stand during the Friday and Saturday of VEISHEA, serving grilled foods, beverages, and sides. Frequency: Annual Est. Attendance: 20 members, 300 non-members Depts. Involved: Agronomy Department
About: FFA Crops Judging Contest - The Agronomy Club grills food for the contest, as well as helping with logistics during the day of the contest and providing members to help assist those in charge. Frequency: Annual Est. Attendance: 10 members, 200 non-members Depts. Involved: Agronomy Department
About: Distance Masters Social - The ISU Agronomy Club prepares and serves a meal for the Agronomy Distance Master's Program
About: Story County Ag In The Classroom - The ISU Agronomy Club assists Farm Bureau in promoting agriculture to area youth through hands-on programs and experiences, in-classroom presentations, and campus and facility tours.
Activity Advertising
Desc. of Advertising Efforts
Advertising is done through attendance at yearly ClubFests, as well as gatherings and socials within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Advertising is also done by email and announcement postings throughout the Agronomy Department.
