Membership Qualifications
We consider anyone who attends meetings to be a member- you can be any major. There are no dues as we don't feel we should require everyone to attend every meeting. We try to do multiple fundraisers throughout the year, including staffing the Cyclone Volleyball Tournament here at Forker and pizza and t-shirt sales instead of requiring dues. We try to offer a variety of meetings and activities for those who are new to the field all the way through those who have already applied or been accepted to schools.
Membership Restrictions
No, we are open to anyone interested in the physical therapy career field or who wants to learn more about it and similar careers. You do not have to be any certain major and can be any year in school.
Elections
Elections are held at the end of the spring semester, annually.
Meetings
Meetings are typically held in the Forker Building, but occasional "field trips" are taken with interested members. The best way to know about meetings is to add yourself to the email list (instruction are on our website homepage in the lower right hand corner). There is no set day or time for our meetings as we work in collaboration with representatives from respective Physical Therapy Graduate Programs. Members will receive email notification of when and where meetings will be. Our website is www.stuorg.iastate.edu/preptclub.
