Orchesis II is a non-audition dance company in which all individuals are welcome to participate regardless of their experience in dance training.

Membership Qualifications
Membership is open to all registered ISU students, as well as persons interested in dancing.
Our membership ranges from those who have danced since they could walk, to those who have never danced before joining Orchesis II. We welcome all skill and experience levels.
To be a member in good standing with the organization, one must attend organization meetings regularly, pay dues if required, and actively support organization projects.

Desc. of Regular Meetings/Activities
Each week we do a brief warm-up and then move into the activity for the night. Most nights we hold a master class with a representative from some form of dance. Master classes in the past have included: breakdance, improvisational, Celtic, hip-hop, Indian, Latin, swing, ballroom, modern, and many others. We also discuss upcoming performances, and opportunities for social events, service events, and performance.

We use the Toman Dance Studio in Forker as well as other studios for rehearsal space prior to our dance concerts. Also, any of the dance department's costuming is available for our use.
