AIDS walk is a group of student leaders that work with the Thielen Student Health Center, Story County AIDS Coalition and the City of Ames to address the issues of HIV infection and AIDS and promote awareness within the campus and community through the AIDS Walk, an annual event on or near World AIDS Day (December 1) which raises funds for local AIDS service organizations.
The next AIDS Walk/Run will be held on December 6, 2008.
