Our group is a non-religious organization designed to help international students adjust and assimilate into the community and culture at ISU by improving their English conversation and skills and helping them find various other clubs and activities that interest them. The influx of international students has exponentially increased making the participation need to help this population of students ever more essential. The Language Barrier is a very obvious issue that many international students are actively trying to overcome. It is our goal to address this problem by providing various fun activities throughout the year for you to learn and make American friends at the same time. There is a tendency for international students to group together with people from their respective origins. This tendency prevents them from integrating into American culture. Are you looking for American culture groups designed for international students? Living in the United States is one thing, actually adapting to it is a completely different story. If you are an active enough person who wants to know and enjoy real American life, you are the best fit for our group. We invite experts from all departments on and off-campus to give presentations and help you figure out every single aspect in your life here in the US. Social grouping?
